Campaspe Chifley
Chifley (DOB 6th November 2007) is 2 years old and very quiet.  He will grow into a very nice bull. Dam: Kunlara Xian (Junior Champion Bellarine 2005; Senior Champion Beaufort 2006; Champion Cow Beaufort 2006; 2nd in Interbreed Beaufort 2006). Sire: Oredala Claymore. Oradala Claymore is a red belted galloway so Chifley, though black, is a red gene carrier. Campaspe Belted Galloway Stud is located near Bendigo in Victoria.  Delivery may be negotiated depending on distance. Price: $1,200 includes GST.  Chifley is excess to our gene pool requirements.  We are also selling his full brother Campaspe The Dargo see below and another young bull Campaspe Dante, as well as a Red Belted Bull Campaspe Red Dergholm.  See below.

1.6 m x 1.5 m. Small cut, less than one inch, from processing.  Lovely hide, big wide white stripe, long hair. $450.

CATTLE FOR SALE
Jalaway Bonnie Dawn is 15 months old. Her mother is Rowsley Park Monique who is also the dam of  Jalaway Bonnie Yasmin. Monique (Bonnie at home) was Grand Champion Female at Melbourne Royal 2004. Dawn is a full sister to Jalaway Bonnie Aurora who was Grand Champion Female at Melbourne Royal 2007. At the Melbourne Royal Feature Show, she was a part of the second placed Sire's Progeny class. She is quiet but not yet in calf.  Height at 14 months 110cm. Price $800.

Jalaway Bonnie Cinderella is 26 months. She has been AI'd to Midfern Norman. She has never been shown but is quiet. She comes from the Bonnie family which has been shown with much success. Her dam is Jalaway Bonnie Yasmin (see below). She has been measured and is eligible for miniature registration if required. Price  $950

Jalaway Bonnie Calinda is 28 months. Her mother is Rowsley Park Monique who is also the dam of Yasmin. Monique (Bonnie at home) was Grand Champion Female at Melbourne Royal 2004. Calinda has been running with the bull, Koralea Banjo and has been served, so should be in calf. Calinda has been shown, she won her heifer class at Canberra Royal in 2008. She has been measured and is eligible for miniature registration if required. Price  $900.

Jalaway Mont Claire is 25 months. She has a bull calf at foot. She is very quiet and can been shown. Her mother is Jalaway Mont Yackandandah, who has only been shown lightly but was Reserve Champion Cow at Canberra Royal Show in 2008. Claire has been running with the bull but may not yet be in calf as her calf is only just over a month old. Price $1050

WEANER STEERS WANTED: Always buying your unwanted weaner steers and heifers, good prices (weight based) paid, own transport (and scales), can pick up within 250km radius of Canberra region. The weaners will join our meat marketing program to be marketed as "Belted Galloway Beef", and will be grown out on pasture to 400kg +. Happy to consider older steers and bull calves if they have had minimal (preferably none) chemical treatments and are pasture based. A grade or pure blood belties preferred, commercials ok, no cross breeds or minis please. Oversized minis considered if they are big, in other words able to finish at 400kg+. We are interested in ongoing relationships, so if you regularly have just a couple, or many, all will be a help in maintaining a continuity of supply of 'Better Beltie Beef'.
